CrashBay proudly announces the appointment of Shawn Broadfield, a seasoned professional and strategic leader in the insurance innovation space, to its executive team in the role of board advisor.

Shawn brings with him a wealth of experience, having initiated and led integrated enterprise solutions for claims. His career highlights include producing unique cost savings and implementing custom solutions that have significantly impacted the industry.

As a finance lead for Allstate Insurance for over two decades, Shawn possesses a deep understanding of the Canadian and US insurance landscape, bringing valuable insights to CrashBay. Notably, his role in leading the Sterling Autobody Collision Centers to profitability as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer underscores his leadership expertise.

Shawn's extensive background includes work as an innovation leader in digitizing claims for Allstate US. He played a pivotal role in swapping out their claims software platform and instituting an online self-service program, showing his commitment to advancing digital solutions in the insurance industry.

Beyond his executive roles, Shawn has served as a startup mentor, board member of the Global Insurance Accelerator of Des Moines, Iowa, US, coach, and strategy consultant. He is also known for his non-profit work, further highlighting his commitment to philanthropy and servant leadership.

With Shawn joining the team, CrashBay looks forward to continuing the journey to elevate the car repair industry, making claims management accessible for the car repair industry.
